Your privacy on a public platform. That sounds like a contradiction, but it's a balance we take seriously. Here’s our simple promise to you.

What We Collect & Why

• Your Stories & Ratings: This is the core of Benefita. When you submit an experience, it's intended for public view to help others. We collect this to power our "Truth Engine" and hold companies accountable.
• Your Identity (or lack thereof): You control your anonymity. We create an anonymous persona for you (like "Agile Fox") based on your user ID. If you choose to share your name, role, or company, we store that with your story, but it's always your choice.
• Authentication Info: We use Firebase Authentication to create a user account for you (even an anonymous one). This helps us prevent spam and allows you to track your contributions. We don't see or store your password.

What We DON'T Do

• We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Ever.
• We do not share your private contact information with insurers or vendors without your explicit consent (e.g., if you request a demo).
• We do not track your activity across other websites.

The Public Nature of Benefita

Please remember that the stories and ratings you submit are public records. The goal is transparency. Do not share personally identifiable information in the text of your stories that you are not comfortable being public. We are building a platform for public accountability, and that requires the data to be, well, public.

Your Rights & Contact

In compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, you have the right to access, correct, or request the erasure of your content. You can withdraw your consent for us to use your story at any time by contacting our Grievance Officer.
